“Aiming to mutual development of trade relations and investments in the field of food and beverages, ALX GREECE and the Hungarian National Trading House (MNKI) organized the Athens Event Gastro 2017, under the auspices of the Hungarian Embassy, in the cozy Aigli Zappeiou on Tuesday March 28th.
The event included a tasty trip to the gastronomic culture of Hungary with local creations prepared by the Hungarian chef Mihaly Vorak, for distinguished guests of the media, food, beverages and catering industries. Operators of catering and gastronomy, renowned chefs, business executives and journalists attented the event, who through a seven dishes tasty trip, had the chance to take a tour to the Hungarian kitchen, which was accompanied by the remarkable wines and spirits produced by the Hungarian vineyard.
All the dishes were prepared with products and materials that came directly from Hungary, especially for this purpose. Note that all Hungarian products are non-genetically modified by law, based on the Constitution of Hungary.
The result was impressive and showed how close are the two peoples both in terms of flavors and the gastronomic culture, proving that there is a great dynamic for cooperation in this area.
The Athens Hungarian Gastro Event 2017 was attented by the Hungarian Ambassador in Greece, Mr Erik Haupt, who prefaced the event focusing on potential commercial synergies development between the two countries, as well as the opportunities presented for investments, especially in the food-beverage sector, which is a key pillar of the Greek economy and is inextricably linked to other vital sectors, such as tourism.
Also, entrepreneurs and journalists were given the opportunity to become better acquainted with ALX GREECE, which is the link between the two countries in the fields of trade and investment, representing the Hungarian National Trading House in our country, which promotes the establishment of business and economic relations between Greek and Hungarian companies.
