GB WATER Disinfection is a Hungarian company that developed an innovative non-hazardous water disinfection solution. The sustainable solution can be used in industrial sectors effectively destroying a wide spectrum of viruses, fungi and bacteria in water. GB Water has developed a water disinfection equipment that produces a water disinfecting liquid consisting of several oxidants by electrolysis, just using ordinary salt and electricity, resulting in extremely effective destruction of viruses, bacteria and fungi, including microorganisms that are resistant to traditionally used chemicals.  GB Water’s efficient and innovative process is sustainable and environmentally friendly compared to other solutions currently used and can be operated in the industrial area.

Used Areas

  • For disinfection of drinking water (for example, the release of highly toxic chlorine gas), even for post-disinfection (typically used by rural waterworks)
  • Usable hot water and cold-water systems (e.g. against legionella bacteria, hospitals and other buildings, sites)
  • Wastewater treatment (compliance with emission limits)
  • To disinfect air spaces (air handlers) (hotels, hotels, offices)
  • Swimming pools, adventure baths (e.g. the release of highly toxic chlorine gas, so the smell of chlorine and allergies caused by chlorine can be avoided)
  • In Agriculture – animal husbandry (disinfection of drinking water for animals, disinfection of stables and other agricultural equipment), – food processing (disinfection of fish, meat, vegetables)
  • General surface disinfection (in buildings, offices, hospitals, for mopping, disinfection of various surfaces) -A mobile unit can also be set up in case of emergencies (healthcare, national defense)

Advantages

  • Effective and safe
  • Biocidal, yet not classified as a hazardous substance
  • Automated operation only requires regular salt replenishment
  • Remote monitoring
  • Easily integrates with existing systems
  • Cost-efficient operation affordable investment and maintenance costs
  • Biofilm removal without corrosion long-lasting protection without damaging surfaces
