Operating more than 60 facilities worldwide, CJ Foods considers Korea and the United States as its primary markets, but it anticipates robust growth in East Asia and Europe. Responding to increasing demand, the company has decided to expand its manufacturing capacity in Europe by establishing a new plant in Dunavarsány, Hungary, complementing its existing operations in Germany. The products manufactured in Dunavarsány, such as stuffed and frozen dumplings and ready-to-eat chicken items, will be exported to Germany, the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, and Belgium. Beyond boosting Hungary’s food export capacity, CJ Foods aims to support the local economy by sourcing materials and packaging from regional suppliers, benefiting local farmers and SMEs alike.
