Our production facility in Dunaharaszti, Hungary will be expanded by 50% as a result of the recent acquisition of an additional 13-acres of land next to the existing site, which will be backed by further investment in capacity expansion up to 2020.

The news follows the opening of the new, extended warehouse in September 2017, which made the 6500 m2, 12 meter-high storage facility the biggest FMCG warehouse in the country, serving more than 30 thousand retail units.

‘We strongly believe that with our occasion-based marketing strategy and the power of our brands, we can accelerate our growth’ said Minas Agelidis, General Manager of Coca‑Cola HBC Hungary. ‘In 2017, we invested a record HUF 6 billion, and this year, we expect to break that record. We want to make the Dunaharaszti plant, that already supplies 25 European markets, the biggest production hub of the Coca‑Cola HBC Group in the CEE region.’

Dunaharaszti, 25th January 2018 – Coca-Cola HBC Hungary extended its Dunaharaszti production base by 50 percent. The biggest total beverage company of Hungary has purchased a 13-acre property recently, and plans significant developments until 2020, which will make the Dunaharaszti base the biggest production hub of Coca-Cola HBC Group in Central-Eastern Europe.

 Coca-Cola HBC Hungary has increased the size of its production base in Dunaharaszti by 50 percent. The company has recently purchased a 13-acre property right next to its current base and plans further capacity expansion until 2020 aiming to supply the increasing local sales and export demand. The largest beverage producer of the country supplies 25 European countries with soft-drink, juices and mineral water, while two-thirds of the raw material used in production are provided by local suppliers.

Coca-Cola HBC Hungary was the first to sign a strategic agreement with the Government in 2012. Since then, the company has invested more than HUF 20 billion in Hungary, launched mineral water export, and opened the biggest food industry warehouse of the country in 2017. Due to the dynamic expansion, the revenue of the company grew by 30 percent in the past 5 years. In terms of revenue, today Coca-Cola HBC Hungary is far the largest soft-drink and mineral water producer and one of the largest food industry companies in the country.
