The application for our Reload Hungary program was a great success, 110 startup ideas from 8 countries applied with their innovative solutions.

Teams have submitted solutions to new problems caused by the pandemic in the field of education, hospitality, tourism and healthcare. The program also successfully addressed several age groups, from 17 to 70-year-old applicants applied for the 20 million HUF investment.

The global startup incubation program called Reload Hungary was launched by a platform organization called HU.B, which seeks Hungarian innovative ideas that respond to changed circumstances and encourage the relaunch of the economy. Starting in June, the 6-week virtual program is open to anyone from anywhere in the world, even from high school. The 12-member platform supports the life path of innovative businesses from idea to international validation, and also provides an investment of HUF 20 million courtesy of MFB Group-owned Hiventures and the Startup Campus Incubator, the organization writes in a press release.

The organizers selected the best ideas from the 110 applications, and the selected teams will start the online incubation program in the beginning of July. During this period they will learn about lean startup methodology, business model, financial plan, international validation and market entry strategies, and they will also have tha opportunity to participate in individual mentoring. The best performing teams during the program will be invited to a virtual Demo Day, where, in addition to the online audience, they can also present their products to investors from Hiventures and the Startup Campus Incubator, and have the chance to win a starting investment of HUF 20 million.
