Maragoni is a Hungarian food company active in the production of cheeses (Mozzarella, Ricotta and Cream Cheese). Maragoni has a 4,000 m² dairy plant in the Komárom region where it produces its products, using Hungarian milk, combining it with “Italian” manufacturing know-how. It has technology for processing dairy by-products (such as whey) and attempts to recycle/utilize them. Maragoni is IFS (International Food Standard) certified and emphasizes sustainability: it uses recyclable packaging materials and technologies that reduce waste. Maragoni has a high Production Capacity of 100,000 liters of milk processed/day in one shift, and has two production lines: one for Pizza Mozzarella – 10 tons/day, and one for Soft Mozzarella – 6 tons/day. The company exports to Central & Western Europe.
