Indonesia is in talks on the delivery of an electronic toll system from Hungary, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said after meeting with his Indonesian counterpart Retno Marsudi in New York, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.

Marsudi told Szijjártó that a USD 40 million investment in Indonesia by Budapest Waterworks is also nearing completion. The company is building water purification plants in 34 Indonesian communities and will inaugurate the first five next month.

Szijjártó said he also met with executives of Suez Water Technologies and Solutions. The company, which employs 1,200 people at its base in Oroszlány (55 km west of Budapest), wants to expand its presence in Hungary, he added.

Szijjártó was in New York for a meeting of the United Nations Security Council, according to MTI. He also gave the opening speech at an event organized by the Hungarian Tourism Agency at The New York Times Travel Show.
