  3. Hungary’s largest premium spa hotel opens in Hévíz

On 15 May, Hévíz welcomed the grand opening of Le Primore Hotel & SPA, Hungary’s newest and largest premium-category spa hotel. With a total investment of HUF 34 billion (EUR 84 million), this five-star superior hotel sets a new benchmark in Hungary and across Europe for exclusive destination tourism.

Le Primore Hotel
The uniquely designed hotel is located directly adjacent to a nature reserve on a 3.4-hectare site. The six-story hotel features 285 rooms and suites, including penthouses on the top floor, a rooftop restaurant and bar, and a striking infinity pool. With accommodations for more than 600 guests, the hotel has already received 190 bookings ahead of its opening—most from Hungary but also from Austria. Looking ahead, Le Primore aims to attract guests primarily from Hungary as well as neighbouring countries, including Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. One of the highlights of the Le Primore Hotel & SPA is its vast, 11,000-square-meter spa complex, which features thermal water sourced from its own well in Hévíz. The water is used in medicinal pools of varying temperatures. Alongside adventure and children’s pools, guests can enjoy three distinct sauna worlds, Balinese spa treatments, a hammam, and private and child-friendly spa experiences. A separate sauna area for women, along with a state-of-the-art fitness and yoga centre, further enhances the experience. A 300-person conference centre and a VIP lounge offer refined venues for corporate and private events alike.

Le Primore Hotel
The Le Primore brand was established by a 100% Hungarian-owned consortium led by CEO Dr. János Varga. The brand’s French-inspired name and logo—featuring the green of a wild duck, a water lily, and Hévíz’s historical name “Hewyz”—symbolise both sophistication and a deep connection to nature. The hotel operates under the philosophy of “heartfelt hospitality,” which emphasises special care not only for guests but also for employees. According to its owners, Le Primore is more than just a place to stay—it is a true sanctuary for those seeking physical and mental rejuvenation, serenity, and first-class service, marking the dawn of a new era in Hévíz and Hungary’s premium tourism sector.
