Magyar Telekom announced that its 5G service will soon be available on all metro lines across Budapest. The company will be the first to launch its 5G service on July 1 this year in the parts of the underground (M1) accessible to the traveling public. After further network modernization and capacity expansion, it will also cover the entire area of the Budapest metros (M2, M3, M4) with a 5G network by the end of the year at the latest.
Magyar Telekom will continue its multi-year network modernization program this year, the aim of which is to modernize, maintain and improve service quality, and increase capacity taking into account the continuous growth of customers’ voice and data traffic needs.
